Dark Matter
A commissioned Apple TV+ pitch gives Dark Matter a cinematic poster family through fractured lettering, reflected faces and opposing light.

Develop a coherent visual direction for the Dark Matter pitch, connecting split portraits, contrasting light and a fractured title treatment across campaign formats.
Visual identity and key visual design
Title treatment, character posters and campaign-format visual studies.
Individual portraits, corridor scenes and the ensemble composition share the fractured title and opposing light. The family gives each character a distinct presence within one cinematic direction.

A familiar face becomes uncertain
Commissioned by Apple TV+ and submitted as a pitch, this direction introduces Dark Matter through divided portraits and reflected faces. The viewer can recognise a person while sensing that something in the image is unsettled. Green and amber light extend that tension into a shared language for the proposed poster family.
The title carries the same fracture
Narrow cuts and displaced segments interrupt the ivory letterforms. The stacked title keeps a steady silhouette across portrait and landscape formats, while small green and amber accents connect it to the lighting. Lettering and portraiture express the same division at different scales.
Different faces, the same tension
Green and amber light divide the portraits into contrasting zones. Tight crops hold attention on expression, while the repeated title treatment connects each character to the wider family. The identity board brings those variations together.
A connected family for the pitch
Individual portraits, corridor scenes and the ensemble composition share the fractured title and opposing light. The family gives each character a distinct presence within one cinematic direction. It remains the commissioned pitch delivered for the project.
